Blog
Sweet Tea’sus is a “li’l bit of tea and a whole lotta Jesus,” to nourish our body and soul.
Our Blog is an eclectic mix of lifestyle, travel, stories, some DIY and humor thrown in the mix.
Why Us?
A preacher once said, “If the devil can’t make you bad, he’ll make you busy.” That has stuck with me over the years. We as women can be SO busy in our day-to-day lives that we take care of everyone else except ourselves. We have to learn to slow down and return to when things were a bit simpler.
Our mission is to give you tools to recognize and respond to your busy-ness, relax, enhance your faith, and lean on the Heavenly Father. And to get back to enjoying life. One sip at a time!
What is it with the tea??
Take time to be still . . .
The tea is the vehicle to slow down. It takes several moments to boil the water, steep the tea, drink and enjoy the tea.
Take that time to “be still,” read God’s Word, pray, or write in your journal. Or – just be still and relax!

Hidden Treasures
More excerpts from my 2011 blog: As you know from my latest post, the Lake House that was in the family for many years, is no longer. After my grandparents’ passed away, my sister bought the Lake House from the estate so that we could all still enjoy it. For several years, we always joked…
